We do offer our community the option to rent the Cherryfield Academy Community Center (CACC) for their own private events. We can provide your party with tables and chairs to outfit your event. These are included in the price of your rental. You will find our latest Renter Policies & Responsibilities at the bottom of the page.

A deposit fee of $100 is required to hold your reservation.
Deposit is refundable at end of your event (see Policies & Responsibilities)

Also Available 

  • Small stereo system that is cd, ipod and Mp3 friendly. 

  • Handicapped access is at the back of the building and includes two handicapped parking spaces. 

  •  Parking for the community center is posted. We request that any overflow parking be done behind the bandstand in the town parking lot as this would  leave spaces available for the American Legion should they also have an event. 

  • We have no elevator at this time but are searching for grants to have one installed in the future. 

Policies

  • Animals are prohibited inside the building without the permission of the Trustees.  Exception:  Guide dogs.

  • Candles or open flames are prohibited inside or outside the building – unless permitted by the Trustees for special occasions – following guidelines.

  • Nails, duct tape or tacks are not to be used.   Suggestions:  painter’s tape,  paint friendly stick on hooks, string/fishing line, CACC installed hooks.

  • Decorations are not to be attached to the  center medallion in the upstairs auditorium.

  • Decorations are not to be attached to the outside of the building, the CACC sign, the war memorial or the flag pole.

  • A person of 21 or older must be in attendance/responsible for All events – including kitchen help.

  • Smoking or fireworks are prohibited inside the building or on the premises.

  • Basketball, kickball, floor hockey, volleyball are prohibited.

Responsibilities:
Before You Leave the CACC

  • Remove trash from inside and parking lot.

  • Remove decorations, tape, etc.

  • Floors – sweep/mop, if necessary.

  • Heat to 48 degrees.

  • Windows and doors locked.

  • Lights off.

  • Janitorial services are not available.  Your deposit will cover them if you don’t.

  • The CACC Board has the liberty to refuse future rentals due to misuse/misconduct inside the building or on the premises.
