12/14/22 : Academy Water Damage

We are grateful for the donations we have received since December 13th when a second floor sprinkler head went off and left both the 2nd and 1st floors with water and a number of ceiling tiles down or hanging from the first floor ceiling.

C & R Carpet Cleaning started working on Wednesday, Dec. 14th, taking care of the water and ceiling tiles. We are thankful that they came so quickly and are giving this beautiful building the attention that it needs at this time!

Thank you to the Cherryfield, Milbridge and Steuben Fire Departments for responding and assisting.  You are greatly appreciated !

Many thanks to those who moved the sound system from getting damaged from the spraying water, left towels and blankets, brought dehumidifiers in, mopped etc. on Tuesday when the sprinkler let go and when the water stopped spraying.  You are all greatly appreciated!
